2. Visiting this website

This website is designed by Octafiandri Hodir and delivered through ChatGPT Sites infrastructure, powered by OpenAI technology, using Cloudflare hosting and a Cloudflare D1 database. Hosting and security services may process technical request data such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser information and security events to deliver and protect the site.

Our purpose is reliable, secure operation of the website. Where we determine this processing, the legal basis is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The exact provider entities, processing locations, international-transfer safeguards and log-retention periods remain to be confirmed. The main website is public. The private community-responses dashboard requires ChatGPT sign-in and is restricted to the operator’s account. See OpenAI’s privacy policy and Cloudflare’s privacy policy for provider information.

3. Registering with Starseeds Council

When you complete the registration form, we store your first name, last name, email address, signup timestamp, an internal submission ID and the versions of your consent wording. We also store the answers you choose to provide about Starseed identity, interests, origins, an existing community or service, ways of contributing and wishes for the community. These answers are not displayed publicly and do not automatically publish your community name. The operator can read, export and delete saved responses through a private dashboard. Deleting a website response does not automatically delete a separate Brevo contact.

Your answers can reveal spiritual or philosophical beliefs. We process the registration and participation information on the basis of your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where special-category information is involved, your explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a) GDPR. The origin questions and the questions about existing communities, contributions and wishes are optional. Your form answers are not sent when you click Continue; they are sent when you complete registration.

Email updates have a separate, optional consent checkbox. Registration is possible without subscribing to email updates. We retain registration information while it is needed to manage your participation or until you withdraw consent and request deletion, subject to any applicable legal retention requirements.

We use Brevo for email subscriptions. If you request email updates, your contact details and submitted answers will be transferred to Brevo to manage your subscription and organise Council communications. A confirmation email will ask you to confirm your subscription before joining the email list. If you do not request email updates, your registration will remain in the site’s database and will not be sent to Brevo by this form. Brevo also processes delivery and subscription-confirmation events. Further information is available in Brevo’s privacy policy.

You can withdraw your registration-data consent or email consent separately at any time by contacting info@starseeds-council.com. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing. Council email updates include an unsubscribe option.

4. Cookies and local storage

This website’s application does not install analytics or advertising trackers. Hosting, access-control and security services may use essential cookies or similar storage. Fonts and design assets are served with the site rather than fetched from external font or image services when you view a page.

When you dismiss the cookie notice, we store starseeds-cookie-notice-v1 in your browser’s local storage. It contains the notice version, the essential-only choice and an expiry timestamp. It does not contain your name, email or a visitor identifier. The site treats the choice as expired after 180 days. You may clear it at any time through your browser settings and reopen the notice using Cookie settings in the footer.

The notice is informational for the current essential-only setup. Dismissing it is not consent to analytics, advertising or future optional tracking. Any future optional tools requiring consent must remain disabled until you actively opt in, with an equally accessible way to decline and withdraw.

5. Contacting us

If you email us, we process the contact details and message you provide to respond to your enquiry. Depending on the enquiry, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual matters, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence. We retain correspondence only as long as needed to handle the enquiry or meet applicable retention duties.

6. Who can receive your data?

The operator and authorised service providers involved in hosting, storage, security or handling your correspondence may process data for those purposes. The final provider list, contractual roles and any safeguards for processing outside the EEA must be confirmed as part of completing this notice.

The current signup application does not make automated eligibility decisions or build advertising profiles from your submitted information.

7. Your rights

Subject to the applicable GDPR conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, and may withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, including the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

For requests, email info@starseeds-council.com. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity before handling a request.

8. Changes

We will update this notice when the site’s processing changes. New purposes that require consent will not be activated based on your acknowledgement of an earlier notice.
